Barony of Highland Foorde

Equestrian Martial Activities

Equestrian will be run by Epy Pengelly under the supervision of Lady Aine d'Alton.

In the morning, riders will individually compete against the clock in a Gambler's Choice challenge course. They will have to make tough choices whether to play it safe and complete easy challenges for less points, or to push themselves and their mounts in more dexterous, skillful, and daring challenges for higher points. Winners will be declared in the walk, trot, and canter categories. Riders should prepare themselves by bringing a quintain lance, ring lance/pig sticker, sword/mace, and javelin.

In the afternoon, the riders will take the field in teams for rousing games of Tippet Tag!. See who will be the last rider standing, as they both try to steal the tippets off of the other rider's arms while protecting their own.
