Driving Directions:

From Baltimore Take I-70 west toward Frederick. Just past Frederick exit, take Route 340 West toward Harpers Ferry, WV. About a mile past Route 67 turn left at yellow flashing light onto Keep Tryst Road and go to top of the hill and turn right on Sandy Hook Road. Proceed for about 5 miles (road becomes Harpers Ferry Road) and the Gate will be on the right. Note that the site is on the opposite side of the road and a bit further north on Harpers Ferry Road than in previous years.

From Washington D.C. Take I-270 toward Frederick and merge with I-70 at Frederick.  Exit onto Route 340 West and follow directions above.

From Hagerstown Exit off I-70 onto Route 65 south toward Sharpsburg.  In Sharpsburg, proceed straight through intersection with stop sign.  Take a right onto Mills Road and turn left onto Harpers Ferry Road.  The Center is located on the right approximately two miles past the town of Dargon.



Alternate Directions to Manidokan
(For vehicles over 12ft tall and those with trailers)

  1. Traveling West on 340 you will exit onto MD-67 going North
  2. Go 6.6 miles and turn left onto Trego Rd
  3. Go 1.8 miles and turn left onto Chestnut Grove- Rd.
  4. In 5.3 miles Chestnut Grove road will merge with Harpers Ferry Rd.
  5. The camp will be approximately 1.7 miles on the left side of the road.
